Year 13 : Trip to Cardiff Bay (25/11/14)
In order to meet the requirements of the element ‘Wales, Europe, and the Wider World’ of the Welsh Baccalaureate, the school is organizing a visit to the Welsh Assembly and Cardiff Bay for year 13 students on Tuesday 25th November. As part of the day, students will visit the Assembly, take a waterfront walk with a local historian who will give a short talk on the economic and cultural development of Cardiff Bay; take a boat trip across the Bay, see the Cardiff Bay Barrage as well as a guided walk to locks, sluices and the fish pass. Lastly they will take a road train ride through the working dock. We will be leaving the school at 8.30am prompt and returning to the school by 5.15-30pm. Students will need to bring a packed lunch or money to buy lunch in the Bay. All pupils must ensure that the permission form overleaf is completed and returned in order for them to come on this trip. The cost of the trip is £12 and covers all visits and excursions.
Thank you for your co-operation
